I have a 91 Chevy 3/4 ton 350 with tow pkg... I lost my tranny at 90,000
miles... so, after reading what you guys have gone thru... I don't feel sooo
bad anymore... I had the tranny replaced and had a "Shift Kit" added on to it
and an external cooler as well, and now I'm up to 123,000 miles and have not
had a problem since... I pull a 2 horse slant, and have a 16 hand Arab and 16
hand TB... my trailer is also loaded down with alot of campnig equipment...
so, I imagine I'm towing about 6,000 # or better too... But, "Knock on
Wood"... I'll continue to have good luck... can't afford my dream truck
yet....
I too want a new Dodge Diesel extended cab with cab doors and all the bells
and whistles... but, not this year!
