If Lynn Goleman wants the speakers to be speaking at "their"
conference why didn't "they" just ask them to! She seems to be putting
forth a childish argument of who got which speaker first. It seems to
me that there are many very knowledgeable people out there willing to
speak at conferences and share their knowledge with others that such
petty fights would not need to occur. Especially when such care was
taken to NOT interfere with the AERC conference, and to act as additional
informative sessions perhaps for those who can't be at the AERC
conference, rather than trying to replace or overshadow it. I was one
of the ones hoping to have materials available via regular mail, for
those of us who couldn't make the trip to either conference. I am
very disappointed in the AERC reaction to your pre-conference idea
