Cleaning filthy coats

Hi there,

I have had problems with my e.mail last week so I am sorry that I missed the
beginning of this, and sorry if I am repeating something that has already
been posted.

I find that horses which live out and wear NZ rugs clean themselves off. At
other times when they are not rugged I find the best thing to get a horse
clean is "catus cloth" It is like a loose weave hessian sack. Also I only
tend to clean the saddle area thoroughly and not worry to much about the
rest of horse unless I am putting boots on when I do the legs as well. As I
have a brown and white horse it does show the dirt!! When returning from
work I don't do much more than a quick wipe as my boy loves a good roll!!!

Baths and washing are reserved only for summer, and I only live in NE
England so do not have the winters experienced in certain areas of the States.

Cheers
