Saddle for Heavyweight rider

Larry - My 2c worth: a heavier rider needs a somewhat heavier saddle than
a lightweight rider. I don't mean a 60 lb roping saddle but one strong
enough to absorb and distribute the impact of the rider's movements. The
most important factor, though, is fit. Choose a saddlemaker who
understands how important it is to fit the rider as well as the horse!!!
Happy trails, Laney
