Dear Duncan

Thank you for taking the time to collect this information. But what does
it mean?

It does not indicate how many individuals were exposed to the virus, and
under went the series of shots. Felt obligated to respond due to some one
may think that only 15 people in the whole United states were Treated for
exposer and or died from a bite of some kind with the suspect of
rabies.........

Dear Rabies Thread

I have to assume these statistics are deaths that were confirmed. It is
very ironic that on the local news last night the issue of rabies was a big
cover story, and here is the just of it. My facts are not accurate so
please do not turn this into and urban myth. Family goes to
((((((FARM)))))) for party (gramas house or something) Two puppies there.
One comes down with confirmed rabies shortly after. (thank God for those
people the puppy just did not go some where and die.) There were 12- or +
people who under went the series because..............The puppy licked
every one there............ Puppy was to young for vac. (When I raised
dogs all puppies left with rabies vac. Even though it had to be repeated
due to being under 6 months of age. A 1.10 shot was not a financial
struggle for us at that time.

Where are the facts of the one million dollars spent vac. adults and
children who were exposed to a little kitty in a mall. I believe the
number of people was in the 200 or better count. (Plug in horse event here)
and think about it.

The family and there friends in Minnesota are not that far from where I live.

My comment is and I say it with kindness and understanding most people
where we even live Probably would think I am in left field with these
ideas. My be there will be an endurance ride in that area or next to the
farm that is in a high skunk/FOX/etc.. population. Will you come? Would
you vac. your horse knowing what you know now?

Thank you to the person who pointed out there are hersd of domestic
animals that are vac. too I do vac my sheep when it is available to me.

Don't give this subject up yet. If you need more input to make a decision
about this issue, it is still worth talking about.

Thanks Sigrid
