Hi rabies thread, Here is another .02 making it .04 to date.

As I tried to state clearly before, and feel you have missed the real
reason for giving a rabies vac. I felt the Judge (can't remember who it
is, but she/he put it beautifully) Yup, get them rubber gloves out......

Rabies is a PUBLIC (you, your family, visitors, clients, events
"liability") health issue. Any of my animals which are in the public for
events, get a rabies vac. Personally I would even push it for a
requirement for endurance participation (The horses). Probably the reason
it is not, is due to the vets that work at the events are already vac.
Against the virus to begin with. (this is an assumption) but it makes sense
to me.

There for making the question of rabies vac. very relevant to endurance
riding events.

Looking at it from this perspective, what do you think?.........
