I, too, do not want to see any complex handicapping nor the necessity of
carrying dead weight to meet handicapping rules. I'm also very new to this
sport (one 35 - first and BC -cus there was a small field!) and attracted
to it for, among other things, the lack of bureaucracy.

If there is a strong faction out there that wants to classify and segregate
and handicap, that is enough people to push to make a change in the whole
sport, please, please, let it only be for a few races, not the majority.
