Kimberly, Good for you. There are so many riders who just want =
to be there on their horse, have a nice day and finish with a bright, =
healthy horse. It's good to hear it again.

Just a comment...

"To Finish is To win" To me, I am competing against the clock, the
trail conditions, my own strengths and weaknessess in training and
conditioning my horse and myself. It doesn't really matter who is in
front or who is behind. If my horse completes in the time allotted and
he is in the condition where if asked, he could do it again the next
day, then I've won.
If this is our "motto" and the belief in endurance riding, then why
talk about handicaps at all?
