Please forgive the delay. Information about the Sunland Endurance Ride may
be obtained from Manager Heidi Paul at (818)899-3471. As of today, the
actual trail is not set. The Sunland Ride is a moderately difficult ride
with a lot of hills and quite a bit of rocky footing, depending on which
routes are used. There is a 25 mile novice ride with no placings. Because
of the time of year, the ride can be hard on horses because we often have
hot weather and they have long winter coats. The ride camp is at the
Hansen Dam Equestrian Center in Lake View Terrace, California,
approximately 1/2 mile off the 210 Freeway. There is ample space, good
security, and the dinner is held at the Equestrian Center. There are
motels in the area, and all services in Sunland, approximately 3 miles
southeast on the 210 Freeway.
There were so many routings on this message that I'm not sure where it came
from initially. If you send a reply, I will provide you with more
information. I can also be reached at (818)352-7363 in the evening.
