Jerry,
Do you live near Evansville,In.?The old Dade Park racetrack,I don't know
what they call it now but I rode there in the 40's. Anyways,,,, Yes,
that's the purpose behind having Class A and Class B rides. If you want
to have a shot at winning you go to Class A rides which have a minimum
weight of 175. That's a start in the AERC....if we could get that passed
through the AERC board we would be off to a flying start !!!! This won't
be easy, if you have been to a AERC meeting and any of the committee
meetings you know what I mean....It's very difficult to get the BOARD to
move on any new ideas that involve racing....If we can get enough
members to start complaining we might light a flame... The big impetus
will be the Arabs and Marathon racing----- when that starts the whole of
wax will change.Hopefully the BOARD will move before that happens.
I need more PEOPLE TALKING....We are losing HW RIDERS everyday and
middleweights. I'll be on the horn more after the ROC......
