Iīm in the middle of organizing an endurance ride in Katwijk (Holland).
I have a lot of help and I havenīt done much rides this year, so I
intend to ride the 50 km myself. Itīs my intention to be in reach for
the organisation by my mobile telephone in case of calamities.
So far no problems.

I just spoke a delegate of the national horse society, who told me that
it is (internationally) forbidden to use a mobile telephone. I never
heard of that rule so far.

Is anyone familiar with that rule? Is it stated by FEI or something?
