Hi,

My husband called me this morning very excited about a used truck he saw on
the way to work. I'd like to give you a description of what I know about it
and you experienced towers please give me feedback. We would be towing a 2
or 3 horse aluminum gooseneck.

1992 Dodge Ram 1 Ton Dually 5.9 Liter Cummins Diesel engine, 5 speed manual
transmission, 30K miles. Doesn't have 4x4, is this a must?

Liz, that is "almost" my truck I will be trying to find in a couple
of years, hopefully. I am not sure about the dually, but I
definately want the manual transmission and the engine!! I probably
WOULD want the 4X4, though, and hopefully the extended cab (in the
later models). But, is this truck a good deal? Would you mind
quoting when they are asking? And......is the 100,000 mile warranty
on the Cummins transferable to another owner? Find this out, at
least I know that the "new" automatic transmission on our old Dodge
truck was NOT transferrable. Naturally, it went out less than a
month after we bought the truck!
