Lucie,

Unfortunately, right now the membership is on a calendar year, and not
on a 12 month year (unless you sign up on December 1). All memberships
start on December 1, and new members must pay the full dues regardless
of whether they sign up on December 1 or September 1. I usually suggest
to those wanting to sign up that they send their dues in sometime in
early November so it will be ready to go as soon as possible in the new
ride year. I would like to see this changed so that those wanting to
sign up at other times during the year can do so at a prorated amount,
but that would have to be changed by the board.
