Equine Theft

We live in an out-of-the way area in NE Washington and a few years ago
had a black arabian mare with excellent bloodlines stolen from our
pasture. They had to have staked us out before hand, because we were
only gone a few hours and came back to find the horse gone. They had
driven down the driveway right beside our house and took her from among a
group of 9, so they knew what they were after. Not for meat, as there
were bigger horses in a pasture along the road, and she was registered
and branded so they couldn't sell her. Only thing we could think of was
using her for breeding pintos. Anyway, we never found her and I still
wonder where she is and if she's alright. And Tracy, my anatolian must
have watched.
