Troxel Headliners

I had problems with my headliner staying in place also, the velcro
stickums that they are using don't seem to have the staying power for
long. You can go to K-Mart, Walmart, fabric store and buy some velcro
squares (they come 8 to a card) - very reasonable - and replace both
sides (helmet and headliner) so they match up correctly. Once I did
that, I never had a problem again. The other thing that I had a
problem with was the fillers staying in place, so I inserted them in
the lining of the helmet and sewed a stitch line underneath and on
each side - never to move again!

>From what I can see, friends that have purchased the black helmets do
not last long (the helmet that is) - they become mushy - must be from
the FL heat. I have had a white one for four years and did not have a
problem with mushyness, however, I just sent mine to be replaced last
week because of damage from a low branch. I might get it quicker Pony
Express than UPS - what do you think?!
