Since Jas can't compete because of poor hoof quality, & I have had her on a
biotin type suppliment of one kind or another since 6/95 - I found the results
of the Spanish Riding School data very interesting. (Thanks Susan!)

I am interpeting it to mean that I shouldn't give up hope yet, & continue with
the suppliments. Also, an old horseman told me if he had my mare for a year -
she would have feet! Told him after all I've been thru, what would he do???
He said give her gelatin (which I'm going to start), & of course he SWEARS by
Alfalfa; "the greatest food known to mankind." This guy is pretty hard to
argue with - (at 78, I'm sure I'LL know it all :-) too!

But can you offer a "No alfalfa in a nutshell for performance horses" synopsis
that he MIGHT accept? I'm getting some fun out of our ongoing "discussion"!
