I called Sportack and spoke with Janine. She said Backy Hart used to use
them on Rio, but is using something else now and didn't say why. Janine
weighed the boot and she said they are around an ounce heavier than the
easy boot.

The easyboots are hard to get on a off and I've never used the foam with
them. I was using the easy dirt skirts, an open-cell foam insert, but
found them to be a pain too. Down here, all we have is sand, so I've
been just using the boot alone and they seem to do fine. I can't see
how if you have the boot on correctly that anything could get under
their hoof wall..if it's level of course and hurt their sole anyway.

The bosana pair of shoes are more expensive than a pair of easy boots
here, so I went with the easyboots, which are totally misnamed.

If you decide to get them, let me know how they work. Janine told me if
I ordered them and the didn't work out, I could send them back for a
full refund.>
