Another good alternative, or add-on, is the Cashel Cap, a neoprene visor
that comes in 3.5" and 5.5" bill lengths. It's soft and can go on top
or, of in place of, the little plastic visor on your helmet. It provides
much more sun protection, and like the cordura ones, won't hurt. It will
sometimes come loose in a canter into the wind, so you have to work a
little to get it to stick through it all. You can order direct from the
Cashel Company at 1-800-333-2202. I've been wearing mine for 2 months
now and LOVE it.
