Hi all,
Would anyone like to do an endurance ride in South Africa. We have a few
rides left this year, and if anyone is interested, contact me for details.
I have been following the Tevis stories, and it seems so exciting. The "
big " ride here is Fauresmith which is a multi day 200km ride. We have just
had that and the winning time was 7hrs 55. Generally our other rides
attract less people, some rides only 12 to 15 riders. These are actually
fun, as you get to know all the riders and crew, and we all get together
before and after the ride. Afriend of mine from South Africa, rode the
Tevis last year and came in 9th, and she had a good couple of stories to
tell. It sounds as if the endurance fraternity are the same the world over.
We also do trail riding in game parks, which is a lot of fun. Some of you
may be interested in coming over here and spending a week riding one of our
trails. There are plenty of wild animals that we see from horseback,
including the endangerd Black Rhino. If you would like to find out more,
please mail us.
Kathy.
