Nora:

I have gone thru sets that have over 700 miles. I usually don't use boots
more than 250 miles in competition, then they are retired to conditioning
boots - or are used in the winter time.

I have a pair of size 1's that did 35 miles of the Tevis :( last week
(Weaver's rear feet) and 50 miles :) of the Tahoe Rim trail (Rocky's front
feet) this weekend <g>. They look to be in pretty good shape...the only
problem is when you use the foam you need to pull it out right away. If
not it gets hard and can be really difficult to get out. (like two weeks
later when you remember...)

Oh yeah...those boots are still on Rocky. Hmmmmmmm.....better go get those
suckers off before I zonk...it's been a long day.

Happy Trails,

Karen
& Weaver 775 miles
& Rocky 150 :-)
