I have learned to eat yoghurt at every vet check and water down the gatorade
for my ultra sensitive stomach. I also drink lots of fruit juices and as a
reward for trotting my horse out when I compete without my trustworthy pit
crew, I get a sweet roll...<g>. I have learned not to eat meat during the
ride and to take little bits of pasta throughout the day - I try to take
several varieties to whet a diminishing appetite. Luckily, my horse is not as
finicky as I am...she likes to chow down on whatever we stick in front of
her. I would never buy a horse as picky as I am (sigh...).

Hope this helps,
Cathy Adair
