Thanks Patty. I know it's serious - been giving him time off to heal and
then not using it again until the saddle fitter goes at it again. Rode him
both in a thin and equalizer pad. In the meanwhile I'm borrowing a
Stonewall from a friend. I've never seen a horse walk like this and was
hoping someone else had experienced this and would confirm my belief that
it's the saddle causing this. After I got it restuffed I did a couple short
and easy rides with a good sweat pattern and he moved freely - but it was the
5 days of riding and long rides at a fast pace that did it. Talk about
feeling horrible to realize I did this to him...
