"Just hair loss" I'd be very concerned about this. It indicates a problem, quite possibly the saddle now fits too tightly around the withers.
You may need to use a thinner pad now that the saddle has been
restuffed. Even with a thinner pad, it may still be too tight, but at
least it should help. Good luck.
