yes bonnie.. i was off the list for awhile.. missed some stuff.. dont how i
dumped offf the list someone hacked in a msg as me and had me pulled..

been very busy also rides and work around the place..

past post.. ref.. I use to feed lots of grain at vet checks.. now i use
beetpulp. oats.. and hay or grass.. no corn..
was at Equitana.. as a guest this year.. went to the lecturs on feeding..
will report later this week..
corn causes many problems.. i was a big corn fan ..but now i re-thinking its
use.

this fall i will be adding small amounts of carbo supplements.. about a oz
per check.. and take blood glucose levels with my meter.. only takes a bout 2
min to get a drop of blood and get a reading. so i will have a method of
control.

if i choose not to do the carbo supplements.. i will opt for the beetpulp and
oats only.. of course with hay and electrolytes.

have a few good natrc ctr rides comming up this summer.. will get some data
on these rides..

more later
