Yea I hated missing it. I had to make the Baltimore airport to get back
home and I barley made it as it was. Roger and I watched the trot on from
on the hill and it was clear that Carlos had it. Cody was sound and the
rest of the horses were off. Cody just looked plain good that morning. I
kept telling Carlos he had the OD award but he wouldn't or didn't want to
believe it.

I am sure that Lynn set him straight - that the OD award and best vet score
award belonged to his pit crew. Lets hear it for pit crews - I'll never
argue with mine again! I didn't know how damn big Fort Vally was until I
spent half of Friday (get the feel) and Saturday (crewing) driving around
it.
