Will be on family vacation till end of month so will be
unsubscibing.
NASTR ride yesterday for once was enjoyed by many of us on the list
in cool temps and raindrops as opposed to our usual 90 degrees.
A 6 am start to a magnificient orange sunrise, low clouds, like a
rising fog skirted the nearby mtns. I got to ride with Karen Chaton
doing a 75, me a 50 coinciding on a shared loop. I fell quickly behind
as Karen on Weaver and Gary Ceragoli on Zcar effortlessly climbed the
towering microwave hill. The two fo them placing 2nd and 3rd on the 75.
Congradulations Karen and Gary.
Ride was perfect, despite someone pulling all the ribbons two days
before. Tough job these managers have!! Gary and Karen were out
putting up ribbons last minute night before!!!
Deanne Delvecio on Gabe did the 50 miles as well as Dorothy Beebe on
Elly.
Dorothy started a new trend, she was so hungry, she announced she
was starting the chow line regardless the fact the meat was not done and
everyone followed suit having desert before the main course.
We sure did have fun! Linda
