Di,

I for one have never heard of the saddle you are asking about and daresay you
will not get a lot of concurrence that it is widely used by endurance rider
on the Tevis Cup ride. If one took a poll of all riders, I don't think one
would find any kind of majority!

The biggest swing towards any one saddle has occurred with the Sports Saddle.
The best one can say about it is that there are fewer complaints registered
by owners! Probably the most complaints are by OrthoFlex saddle owners.

Now I have a question for you!!

I am considering a Wintec saddle for my current Arab, who is relatively
flat-bcked (withers to loin). The Wintec has the flattest panels of an
English-style saddle that I've seen. Catalogs here do not have a Wintec PRO
2000 saddle of any model, but they do have PRO models and 2000 models. The
endurance model is a PRO model.

I rode in a friend's Wintec that she bought in Australia but is apparently
not sold in the U.S. It is a PRO model, with a squared cantle like a
close-contact saddle. Have you ever seen these? Do you know what the model
is called?

Thanks for any info you can provide!
