<< There is supposedly a story that goes along with this recipe pertaining to
Neiman-Marcus but it has also been denied. Whatever the truth, this is a
delicious cookie recipe and well worth the preparation time. Try it and
discover a heavenly taste. I call this the "LookAlike Cookie"

Recipe:
2 cups butter
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend into a fine powder)
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 tbs. salt
1- 8 oz. Hersey Bar (grated)
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice - walnuts and pecans are a good mix)
3 tsp. vanilla

Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with
flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, grated
Hersey Bar, and nuts.
Roll into balls and place two (2) inches apart on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degres. Makes 112 cookies....... Enjoy!

In the next mailing, experience "Chicken in the Bog", a great southern
recipe, which is easy to prepare and served 'family' style. Whoever said
that the best things in life are free sure knew what they were talking about.
Stay Tuned.

Can we add Perform 'N Win and make them into "horse cookies"?
