<< I did find an endurance saddle that has completely adjustable rigging
(fore and aft) by the use of some well thought out adjustable rigging
straps that cross at a diagonal. Extremely well built, Herman Oak
leather, high or low pommel, horn/no horn. Made by Fred Hook Saddles in
Montana, around $1400. I didn't buy one, found it in my research.

Are you referring the the Fred Hook Mountain Saddle? If so, I have one... I
was up there in 1993 and fell in love with it. I sits well and I love the
rigging. Mine is a 15 1/2 inch seat..all black, sem-QH tree. Weighs 24 lbs.
I have it for sale because I just got a Sharon Saare Ultra-light and don't
need it. $1200.00 (includes Trail Tech III stirrups).

By the way, Fred Hook sold the shop and is no longer making this saddle.
