Please relay my congratulations to Lori Taguchi. She is one of my clients
and I didn't know she had decided to take up endurance...good for her. She
has a nice little filly (still growing) that should make a nice little
endurance horse too.

Glad to hear that Stacie Parker finished on Copper too. Game horse
that...Stacie too.

For those of you who are interested....watch out for my horse that my
friend and teacher Joane White Lyon is leasing from me. It will be his and
her first year at endurance. The horse's name is Two Plus Windjammer and
he is really special because he used to be a jousting horse at the
Excalibur until he broke his neck 2-1/2 years ago...have the xrays to prove
it. I took him cuz he had always been my favorite of the horses and for an
experiment in alternative therapies. The only conventional treatment he
got was the initial emergency care and the first 3 days. The rest was
acupuncture, homeopathy, nutrition and chiropractic. He was sound to ride
in 8 months (non-displaced fracture obviously)...then he came home to Utah
and promptly twisted a gut and colicked....that surgery went fine and now
he is off to be an endurance horse. So if anyone sees Joane and Jammer say
hi! See if Joane can get him to bow at the vet checks....he came with some
tricks that I didn't know he had in him...surprise!
