I think like anything else you have to look at it terms of degrees - we all
do what we can depending on our other commitments and resources and what we
consider priority. Many of us also have to trailer on the weekends -
road-warriors-R-us :-))

the best advice I can give is to ride your rides as you have conditioned.
So...maybe you haven't been able to ride as much as you like but your horse
is reasonably fit - so then you go to a ride and plan on pacing middle to
back of the pack vs. riding faster.

as far as juggling everything it's all fine and dandy to read these articles
that say "set aside X time for your riding on these days". yeah,
right.....like *that* ever works :-).

most of us are doing what you're doing - running around like crazy with all
of life's activities and troubles, wondering when we can ride again and
wondering how everyone else does it :-))
