conditioning and work and family etc

As a working wife and mother I wonder how "you all" manage to find the time
to condition? I try to take my horse Bask out for at least an hour a day and
longer on the weekends. Somedays I just don't have the time to ride. Somedays
I have enough time to give him a good lunging. Most of the time he is out on
pasture and plays with his buddies. We also live in the flatlands of upstate
N.Y. so I have to trailer him on the weekends to get to any hills. BUT, TIME!
How does everyone manage. It is one thing to have him in condition where you
don't need to work him everyday or 5 days but how can you reach that
condition when you are working, tending to young children (my daughter is 7),
have other responsibilities. Some days it is very frustrating. Today, for
example, I could go over and ride right now but that would leave my 7 year
old on her own... I think not. By the time my husband gets home for supper it
will probably be raining. Now, there is another issue.... the weather. We
have had a cold, rainy spring. So, how do you all manage? Honestly!
