broken jaw

My deepest thanks to all the people that took time to send me words of
encouragement, hope and specific advice regarding my filly with the broken
jaw. I am sure all your positive thoughts and prayers were of help to her,
I know they certainly were to me. She came home today with her jaw wrapped
like one of those "tooth aches" from an old silent movie, on antibiotics,
with strict instructions not to touch the jaw. I am going to try to spend
time with her, petting scratching and soothing to be sure she keeps a
positive mental attitude about people after what she has had to go through,
although she does not seem to have much pain or discomfort, and is not on
pain killers. I'll post once in awhile so as not to clutter the list with
her progress. Thank you all again. With all the little wars that go on, the
bottom line is that this is a wonderful group of people and I am so glad I
found you.
