If you use smaller gauge needles ie 25 or 27 gauge 1 1/2 inch the horses
hardly know you're there, as long as you are not giving penicillin(which is
really thick-however you can use a 23 gauge 1 1/2" and not an 18 as is
typical or 20 gauge(if they are lucky)-however it is alittle slower but my
horses are a lot happier about it. If you can't get them ask your vet to
orderthem-if your large animal vet won't, try your small animal vet.
