Right-on Marc. I am now pulling my trailer with a Freightliner (means CDL,
IFTA. etc.) I had a lot of learning to do and frankly, none of the weigh
stations really know what to do with me (unless I pass them...then they are
on my tail..FAST). Sooner or later, the government will realize that horse
trailers are being made poorly (compared to semi-trailers) and that PU trucks
are NOT designed or rated to pull the bigger trailers everyone seems to be
going to...until that time, let us do our own policing. I MUCH prefer the
"hands off " policy from the US Gov't whenever we can.
