Well, nobody's said "enough with the snake stories already," and this is
endurance-related in a way -- I was researching trails for the rides in =
Bankhead
=46orest when I had my encounter.

I was riding by myself looking for new trail prospects when I had to =
"take a
dump." I tied Kahlil to a small tree, and walked over to a sapling to =
support
myself while I crouched. Just as I was crouching to "do the deed," this
triangular head popped up beneath me -- a rattler!

I learned that day just how fast I can hop with my trousers around my =
ankles! I
didn't get bitten, luckily -- even if I had found someone, how ever would=
I have
pursuaded him to suck out the poison?

BTW, Kahlil ignores snakes on the trail. He'll just step over them.
