Hi Susan,

hmm, I didn't realize that biotin was excreted, just fed it per label
directions. Nice to know a bucket will now last me twice as long!

As you said though, the Biotin Plus was the chepest supplement with the
mostest stuffus in it. You really need to read the labels to see what
you get per feeding. The Farrier's Formula recommends 4 oz /per day.
Even that 11 lb. container would go really fast.

As I said before, we did see a definite improvement in our new gelding's
feet. I was thinking that if we really started competing this horse,
we'd have to go with nothing but easyboots, as there was no more foot to
nail to. His feet would have looked like swiss cheese. Now, I think
we'll be able to keep him shod on a regular basis.
