In a message dated 97-05-01 12:18:15 EDT, you write:

<< My horse has trouble keeping shoes on up to eight weeks (has lost them
at five-six), but my ferrier says it's hard to shoe her at week six
because she doesn't have enough hoof growth, and that her hoofs need to
be stronger for the amount of riding I'm doing. A supplement may be in
order, but what do you guys use?

One person I asked (an ex-equine vet, now a small animal vet) said,
well, what kind of horse do you have; when I told him an arab he said,
well, arabs don't have feet. . . (??!!)

Thanks,

Eileen >>

What???? Arabs sure do have feet. It is TB's that notoriously don't.
Anyway, try Easyboots OVER your shoes...I have had tremendous luck with
them. I don't use any suppliments, so can't help here...
