Saddle debate,etc

Just to put in my two cents worth -I used Deb Cooper when I lived in Santa
Cruz and was really impressed with what Deb cooper did with my crazy arab
that no one else could help-she gave him the Rosetta Stone on how to
interact with humans-until she worked with him-he just could not get it..no
matter who was talking to him. I would recommend her whole heartedly-on
moving to Georgia I had to search for someone else who does "resistance
free training". On the great saddle debate-I have had several
orthoflex(which I got after my western, then my stonewall, and then my
stubben)I started with a traditional(which is on loan with one of my
horses),then went to an endurance cut back which no one liked(altho the
horses did)then got an exmoor(my husband-the steepchase trainer-has and
likes very much to hack, gallop and jump in) and I had a classic hunt which
I liked very much for endurance but could not gat out of to jump in-I
traded for a cross country which I love-it took me a while to get used to
the flet seat...and I don't like it for young horses but it hunts, hacks
and does endurance with great ease. I love the new orthoflex panels and the
neoprene stickies for changing the fit- I am a feather wt(103#) and have
always had trouble with my saddles scrubbing in the back- even with a
crupper(which helps)but adding to the front panels has solved the problem
on two horses and lessen it on one. By the way-becky or Judith-please give
me your e-mail-I wanted to update you on "Tams Lil Clipper" I am at
pbrooks@accumm.net .......thanks Penelope BrooksMD
