I put my horse in eggbars (front feet)about eight monhts ago. he had
been having shoeing problems so i decided to give them a try after
reading Dr. Loving's articles in Trailblazer. he has done a couple of
50s in them and so far is going better than ever. You have to get all
four feet in balance obviously or risk stepping on the front shoe. My
farrier has done a great job -- i rarely get a click even when it's time
for reshoeing. But I have not seen eggbars on many endurance horses --
maybe some vets could comment?
