I feed a shreaded beet based feed. It has some grain but it is not near as
much grain as in other "sweetfeeds". Next my guys don't get a lot of feed
- they don't seem to need it. The most I have ever fed was 2.5 pounds
twice per day. My normal feeding during ride season is 1.5 to 2 pounds.
Becuase of this I have no concerns feeding after a ride.

I will wait until after we have vetted through. Then I will give hay.
When everything is back to normal - the horse is eatting and drinking well
with rip roaring gut sounds I will feed the normal amount. If things are
not allright - knock on wood hasn't happened yet - I would wait and watch
the horse closely.
