I occurs to me that there is a plethora of parents who force their children
to participate in one sport after another, sometimes several at a time, to
the point where these people have no family time left at all. No,
emphatically, a child should NEVER be forced to participate in an activity
which is undesired or unpleasant - well other than school! I have seen the
sobbing children at teh soccer field, softball field and the hockey games -
they are a picture of abject misery - while mom or dad - or both - are busy
berating the officials and screaming at the coach to put thier child in. So
so so.
