Hi Kate - I'm forwarding your message to the Endurance listserve,
ridecamp@endurance.net - maybe there are some people in your
area that can help you. You would learn a lot by attending and helping
at some local endurance rides . There is a ride calendar on the
web site with dates, places and people to contact about rides.

good luck!

I really like your online site, but I'm not an experienced endurance rider,
which is what this site is pretty much based for. Actually, I'm still
learning the basics of regular English riding, though I've already decided
that I want to do endurance. I was hoping that maybe you could give some
places or ways that I could get more basic information on endurance riding.
I know I'll need my own horse (I use the lesson horses at the stable -
Valley View in Judson, TX) but I'[m only 13 and my brother is going to
college next year. So, I'd like to know if you could send me information on
horses that would be good for endurance riding - so if I can't ride now,
while I'm in school, I can look into it after I get out of the house and on
my own.
