I'd like to thank everyone who gave me advice on whether
an Arab horse could make a hundred miles in 24 hours. My
first novel, Let There Be Blood, featuring Lord Ambrose Malfine and
his Arab mare, Zaraband, has now been published by Headline. There is not
so much about Zaraband in this one but her hundred-mile ride across
Dartmoor is featured in the next book, due out in October. This one will be
called The Egyptian Coffin.
