I breed/race Standardbreds one of my stallions(not my stud) is a bleeder. He
is doing well - I am not looking for a treatment - he is on excellent
treaments. I am curious about the rumours I have heard at the track that
alfalfa hay causes horses to become bleeders or keeps them from improving
once they are bleeders. If any of you have insight rather then hearsay into
this matter I would really appreciate a response as all my babies love their
dairy quality alfalfa hay.
