Muscle tremors? (Long)

I could use some advice from you guys out there.

This weekend I went to a ride. I trailered my mare 8 hours (yuck!) We
stopped 2 times for at least 1/2 hour. She would not drink at the stops nor
at camp when we arrived. She finally drank 15 miles in to the ride though
not a lot. She got an a on cap refil and a b on hydration (skin tent)
morning of ride. 1st vet check still A and B, respectively. Her pulse was 48
at the PR at first vet check.

Continued on to trot by at 35 miles. Trotted out fine. Hoped off for 10 min
hold. She had a sip of water and then munched some hay. I noticed right away
that her pulse did not drop Though it had gotten hotter her pulse usually
would drop right awway. She hung at 72. After 5 min. she started trembling
all over. Her skin was literaly trembling. I took her to the vet. he
listened to her guts and said were very quiet. She was urinating often with
not much coming out. When she did pee it was concentrated (not coffee
colored or bloody). She seemed to be straining to poop as well and nothing
was coming out. So I pulled her and trailered back to camp. She continued to
shake for at least an hour with a polar fleece lined blanket on (air temp
75+). She would not drink but ate wet hay and nibbled some bran. Her pulse
was 40 @ 1:30.

The vet said I could trailer her home so we left around 4. I stopped at 6:30
to let her rest. At this point she was thumping a bit. Her pulse was 44. I
trailered her 2.5 more hours to Truckee where we stopped for the night, She
ate some bran mash and wet hay but still did not drink.

The next morning she nibbled some more bran mash and we trailered home. 3.5
hours. She pooped a small one in the traler but no pee.

Today she still seems to be straining to go poop. Her pee is milky yellow
looking. She is out on her pasture and is eating gras but not drinking???

Does it seem likely that she was just dehydrated and could not or would not
catch up??

Or could something else be wrong. If she was tying up we must have caught it
because she is not and was not sore or stiff at all.

Help!????

:-) Jessica

PS: The vets said they thought she ws nervous though this is her 3rd 50??
