Article is in T.B. issue sept/oct 94 quote:
"For nose and face bites, insert a piece of garden hose, about five to
six inches long, into each nostril. These may have to be taped at
first, but soon the swelling will secure them in place. (Two piecesc
cut from an old, stiff garden hose, should be carried whenever riding
in rattlesnake country)."

Article urges vet care a.s.a.p. to avoid complications due to tissue
