Here's an interesting story.
Thoroughbred came to us diagnosed with intermittant fibrillation. We're
studying the animal to see if anything can be done and have seen what the
problem looks like on the V-Max readouts---a flat line. In this case, we had
a normal rising curve as the horse increased speed to racing rates and, just
as the heartrate was about to cross 200, it flattened out for 10-15 seconds,
then went on with its normal pattern.
