I just recieved my new biothane breastcollar and was wondering if all of you
could give me some advice on how to fit them. Is there any things not to do
with them?? I would greatly appreciate any advice you could give me!!!

Thanks,

Keep it loose!! I see so many tight breastcollars! There are two
ways to check. One is to do a fast trot and put your hand under the
breastcollar. Is it restricitng the horse or pinching your hand?
Put a pan of grain on the ground. Can the horse lower his head
completely to the ground without the breastcollar binding him?
The strap between the legs should also be fairly loose, but not too
loose the horse could step into it! The V in the front of the chest
should be below where the neck joins in, but not too low. All in
all, it will appear fairly loose when properly adjusted.
