I have an investor who wants to sponsor me and my horse, even as green as we
are, for endurance racing. I have some questions to those of you who have
sponsors. How the heck does it work? Does he put up a certain amount of
money for me to invest in racing, and he gets a write off? Then I advertise
his business and or logo on my trailer, clothes, etc..? I am trying to
figure the benefit in it for him, its easy to figure the benefit for me:}
Also what pitfalls must I be aware of? Any and all sponsorship info would
be appreciated. Like how you started, stipulations on the agreement,
contractual stuff. Thanks!
